PCI Faculty Development Program

PCI- Faculty Development Program (FDP)

Smt. Kishoritai Bhoyar College of Pharmacy, Kamptee (Autonomous), in collaboration with the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi, successfully organized a One-Day Faculty Development Program on “Effective Implementation of the B. Pharm Syllabus (2026) as per NEP 2020.” The program was inaugurated by Dr. Montukumar M. Patel, President, Pharmacy Council of India, as the Chief Guest. Mr. Jashubhai H. Chaudhari, Vice President, PCI, graced the occasion as the Distinguished Guest. Dr. Sharat Chandran C and Dr. Sanjay S. Toshniwal, Central Council Members of PCI, attended the inaugural ceremony as Guests of Honour. The dignitaries highlighted the importance of the revised B.Pharm curriculum in strengthening pharmacy education and aligning it with the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. They encouraged faculty members to adopt innovative, outcome-based, and student-centric teaching practices for effective curriculum implementation. The program was convened by Prof. Milind J. Umekar, Principal, while Prof. Dinesh M. Biyani, Coordinator (PCI-FDP), coordinated the event. The inaugural ceremony was held at Shri Y. K. Bhoyar Auditorium in the presence of pharmacy faculty members from across the Vidarbha region. The Faculty Development Program aims to equip educators with the knowledge and skills required for the successful implementation of the new B.Pharm Syllabus (2026). The initiative reflects the joint commitment of PCI and Smt. Kishoritai Bhoyar College of Pharmacy towards enhancing the quality of pharmacy education in India.
